Tickets
Segregation is in place for this fixture. Home supporters will enter the ground through Turnstiles 1 and 2, located in the middle of the car park, while away supporters will be directed to Turnstile 4 on Upgang Lane.

Turnstiles will be open at 12pm.

Heading online is the easiest way to purchase because you can opt to print at home or simply download the QR code to your mobile device to show upon entry at the turnstiles. This will make your entry into the stadium more time-efficient.

With a near-sellout crowd expected at the Towbar Express Stadium, advance purchase tickets are strongly recommend.

Getting to the ground
Directions from all areas to the ground can be found here.

Should you be driving and need to find us with your Sat-Nav, our post code is YO21 3HZ.

Parking
Due to the size of the car park, and the start of Whitby Cricket Club's season, parking is restricted to players, staff, permit holders, match officials and away team officials only. No other parking spaces will be available at all in the club car park.

There is limited street parking available around the Towbar Express Stadium, though the club recommends using the public Pay & Display car park at Whitby Leisure Centre, just five minutes from the ground. Please refer to the map for directions to the car park.

West Cliff Long Stay Car Park Pricing:

  • 1 hour - £2.20 (£1.80 for permit holders)
  • 2 hours - £3.30 (£2.70 for permit holders)
  • 6 hours - £7.00
  • 24 hours - £9.00

The club car park can only be used for the visiting club's team coach, so should you be bringing a separate supporters' coach or minibus, this can park here for the duration of the match for £10.

There is also the option for cars to use parking on the West Cliff itself, though during busy periods, these spaces could be limited.

West Cliff Parking Pricing:

  • 1 hour - £2.00
  • 2 hours - £3.00
  • 4 hours - £5.00
  • 8 hours - £6.00

Please note that, due to Whitby Goth Weekend, the town will be extremely busy and all parking is expected to be limited.

What am I allowed/not allowed to bring into the ground?
To ensure the safety of all supporters inside the ground on a match day, we have a number of items that are not permitted inside the ground, as is outlined in the document here.

Pre-Match
Due to segregation being in place, only home fans will be permitted in Turnbull's Bar. Here, Town supporters can soak up the pre-match atmosphere while enjoying a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.

You can even take your drinks outside so fear not if you're buying just before kick off or just ahead of the second half! Please note, however, that alcohol can only be consumed in standing areas of the ground.

A can bar will be available in the away section of the ground, ensuring that visiting supporters can enjoy a tipple or two as well.

Cans will be priced at £3, or two for £5. Please note, all cans will be decanted into plastic glasses. Both cash and card will be accepted.

50/50 Draw and Golden Goal
Fancy your chances to win on match day? Well, we have a couple of options for you!

Our 50/50 sellers will be the first people you meet after coming through the turnstiles at the ground, from 1pm. Tickets cost £1, and the winning number will be announced over the PA at half-time and displayed on a chalkboard near the ground's home entrance.

We'll also have Golden Goal tickets on sale, just head to Turnbull's Bar and see the staff. Once again, these cost £1, and you could win £40 if you get the correct minute of the first goal (or you pick up a 0-0!).

Toilets
Toilets for home supporters will be located under the main stand. Portaloos will be in place for away supporters in the Upgang Lane end.

Food and Drink
We have two canteens inside the Towbar Express Stadium - one in the home section, and one in the away section.

In both outlets, you'll find a wide range of delicious food, such as pies and sausage rolls, as well as other snacks such as crisps and chocolate. If you need something hot to drink to keep you warm during the game too, both canteens serve tea, coffee, hot chocolate and the old favourite of many a football fan - Bovril.

The main stand-side outlet will serve home fans. The Upgang Lane end outlet will serve away fans.

Club Shop
Fans can find an array of Seasiders merchandise from our outlet based underneath the main stand, and this is open from around 1:30pm on a daytime match day.

For those collectors, yes we do have pin badges. Plenty of them! Given that we haven't played Macclesfield since the 70's and it's the Silkmen's first visit to the Towbar Express Stadium, we'll be setting up a stall in the away end so visiting supporters can make a pin badge purchase if they wish.

Seating and Standing
Home supporters are free to stand wherever they like at the Towbar Express Stadium at the Turnbull Ground, barring in the Upgang Lane end where visiting supporters will be situated.

If you prefer to sit to watch the match, you can take a seat in our impressive main stand. You'll have unspoiled views of the pitch, wherever you sit! There is no extra charge to sit in the main stand.

Due to a bumper crowd being expected, supporters who wish to sit should arrive early.

No seating is available in the away section of the ground. Macclesfield supporters who require a seat due to being less able to stand should email leebullock@whitbytownfc.com as soon as possible to reserve a seat in the main stand.

Hospitality
Suppose you fancy adding a little extra to your match day experience. In that case, we also offer hospitality packages in the Seasiders Lounge, sponsored by Arundel House, located at the top end of the ground, past the main stand.

The package is priced at £35 per person, you'll get entry into the game and lounge, two free drinks from our well-stocked bar, a match day programme, a teamsheet and home-cooked hot food at half-time. This can be booked by emailing leebullock@whitbytownfc.com.

Post-Match
Home fans are welcome to join us in Turnbull's Bar after the final whistle where you’re sure to be greeted by a welcoming and warm atmosphere.

Programmes
We’ve got a full printed match programme available on Saturday afternoon so make sure you pick up your copy at the turnstile or from the club shop when you arrive.

Programmes will be made available to purchase in the away section as well.

Dog Policy
Everyone loves a non-league dog, so our ground is dog-friendly. All we do ask is that your four-legged friends are kept on a lead at all times.

Ground Regulations
Whitby Town is committed to ensuring that all supporters enjoy their match day experience at the Towbar Express Stadium.

Our full list of Ground Regulations can be found here - we advise all supporters to read these ahead of their visit.
