Whitby Town midfielder Adam Gell has joined Heaton Stannington on a one-month loan.

The midfielder will spend the next month with the Pitching In Northern Premier League Division One East side, gaining valuable minutes during his temporary spell.

Gell, who is currently in his fourth spell with the Seasiders, returned to the club in September 2024 after briefly featuring for Bishop Auckland.

The central midfielder originally joined Whitby from Guisborough Town in 2016 and quickly became a popular figure at the Towbar Express Stadium. He has also enjoyed spells with Shildon and Marske United during his career, before returning to Whitby for a fourth time.

The 35-year-old will now link up with Heaton Stannington for the next month as he looks to maintain his match fitness.

Everyone at Whitby Town wishes Adam all the best during his time with Heaton Stannington and we look forward to seeing him back in blue.
