He will therefore depart the Towbar Express Stadium following the expiration of his contract with the club.

The club held positive discussions with Alex in an attempt to reach an agreement and retain his services for the upcoming campaign. However, despite efforts from both parties to find a solution, it was ultimately not possible to agree terms.

Alex joined the Seasiders ahead of the 2025/26 season following an impressive spell with Newton Aycliffe and quickly became a valued member of the squad.
