Brian suffered a fall whilst doing what he enjoys most - capturing special moments around the football club - during the photoshoots for Marley Grant, Sam Kay and Lucas Reed.

Following an X-ray, it was confirmed that Bri has sustained a fractured humerus. The injury will unfortunately mean that he is likely to be sidelined from his photography duties for the next few months as he focuses on his recovery.

Anyone who knows Bri will be aware of the dedication, passion and professionalism he brings to his role. In a testament to that commitment, despite suffering the injury, he still took the time to edit and deliver the photographs from Sunday's shoot to ensure the Whitby Town media team had the assets required for their work.

His photographs have played a huge part in documenting the club's journey over the years, and his contribution behind the scenes is valued immensely by players, staff, volunteers and supporters alike.

We know the entire Whitby Town family will join us in wishing Bri a full and speedy recovery, and we look forward to seeing him back behind the camera as soon as he is ready.
