The evening brought together supporters, former players, club officials, sponsors, volunteers and friends of the club to celebrate 100 years of Whitby Town Football Club, while also raising vital funds to support the club as it enters its second century.
Guests enjoyed a memorable evening of entertainment, reflection and celebration, with representatives from some of the most significant eras in the club’s history in attendance, including members of the 1965 FA Amateur Cup Final side and the 1997 FA Vase-winning team.
The event also featured a fundraising auction and raffle, made possible through the generosity of local businesses, supporters and donors.
The club would like to place on record its sincere thanks to everyone who attended the dinner, donated prizes, purchased raffle tickets, bid in the auction or contributed in any way to the success of the evening.
A special thank you also goes to the organising team, volunteers, sponsors and Whitby Pavilion staff, whose hard work ensured the event was a fitting celebration of this historic milestone.
The £9,416 raised will provide a significant boost to the club as we continue to invest in the future of Whitby Town and build on the foundations laid over the past 100 years.
As our centenary celebrations continue, the club looks forward to building on the momentum created by this landmark event and creating an exciting future for generations of Seasiders to come.
