Everyone at the club recognises that health and family will always come first over football, and he goes with best wishes to himself and his family.

Lee is fit and well, but is undergoing a course of medication and requires additional monitoring over the coming weeks, which has led him to this decision.

Assistant Manager Denny Ingram will take charge of first-team affairs on a caretaker basis.

Bully has played an integral part in the club across two spells, since 2013, when he joined as a player under Darren Williams. Following his playing career, he went on to take up positions as assistant manager, commercial manager and first-team manager.

His second spell saw him ensure survival in the Northern Premier League Premier Division, before rebuilding the squad in the summer.

Everyone associated with the club would like to place on record their thanks to Bully for his dedication and commitment to the club over the years.

Further announcements with regards the managerial position will be made in due course.
