This follows an approach from Hartlepool United, who have appointed Gary to the role of Assistant Manager.

The Board of Directors would like to place on record their sincere thanks to Gary for his service to the Club. Throughout his tenure, he conducted himself with the utmost professionalism and integrity, and made a significant contribution to the development of both the playing squad and the wider culture of Whitby Town Football Club. We wish him every success in the next chapter of his career.

The Board will convene in the coming days to discuss the Club’s future direction and will commence the process of appointing a new First Team Manager in due course.
