Whitby Town are delighted to announce the signing of versatile defender Jamie Cobain, who joins from West Auckland Town.

Jamie joined West Auckland from Scottish Premiership side Kilmarnock having come through the Newcastle United academy who he joined up with at the age of ten. He made his under-21 debut in May 2015.

Cobain has also spent time on loan with Sheffield United before heading north of the border to play under Lee Clark at Rugby Park.
