Last season
A torrid run of one win in 13 at the back end of last season saw Curzon Ashton firmly in the midst of relegation danger, entering the bottom four and finding themselves relegated on the final day of the season, after a 3-3 draw with Alfreton Town.
In the dugout
Adam Barton was appointed as player-manager in March this year, following the departure of Mark Bradshaw. Barton is assisted by defender Jordan Richards.
Where do they play?
Curzon Ashton play at Tameside Stadium in Ashton-Under-Lyne - and have done since it was opened by Sir Alex Ferguson in 2005.
The ground has two covered stands and is fully terraced on all four sides.
Have we met before?
The Seasiders have only met The Nash on two occasions, both coming in the 2014/15 season.
Curzon Ashton won both matches, winning 1-0 in Whitby's first home of that campaign, before running out 3-0 victors at Tameside Stadium in March 2015.
The Nash went on to win the play-offs that season - beating local rivals Ashton United on penalties, and then earning promotion with a 1-0 victory over Ilkeston.
