Whitby Town is looking for friendly, reliable, and enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Casual Bar Staff.

This is a great opportunity to work in a welcoming and fast-paced environment at the heart of the local community. Whether you're looking to gain experience in hospitality, earn some extra income, or become part of a vibrant matchday and events team, we'd love to hear from you.

The Role
As a member of our bar team, you will help provide excellent customer service to supporters, visitors, and guests attending matches and events. Duties will include:

  • Serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks responsibly
  • Operating tills and handling payments
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming bar area
  • Assisting with stock replenishment when required
  • Providing a friendly and professional experience for customers

What We're Looking For
We are seeking individuals who:

  • Have a positive attitude and strong customer service skills
  • Can work effectively as part of a team
  • Are reliable, punctual, and well-presented
  • Are comfortable working in a busy environment
  • Have previous bar or hospitality experience (preferred but not essential)

Applicants must be of legal age to serve alcohol in accordance with licensing regulations.

Hours and Pay
This is a casual position, with shifts available during matchdays, evenings, weekends, and club events as required.

Wages and hours will be discussed at interview.
