The 18-year-old attacking midfielder, who can also play on the wing, signed for Pools in July 2023 after completing a scholarship with the club and has made the First Team squad on several occasions, most recently for their National League fixture against Maidenhead United last weekend.

Aungiers arrives at the Towbar Express Stadium on an initial one-month dual-registration period.

Manager Gary Liddle said: “Joe is a highly rated young player from Hartlepool who, but for a few injuries this season, would have been in and around the first team squad even more than he has been.

“He's a technical player who can hopefully help us in those attacking areas of the pitch.
