The Seasiders will be aiming to build on last weekend’s impressive victory at Warrington Town, where goals from Harley Dawson and Layton Watts secured all three points and a welcome return to the North Yorkshire coast in high spirits.
Visitors FC United of Manchester arrive well-rested, having not played for just under a fortnight, but they remain in excellent form. The Red Rebels have won their last four Pitching In Northern Premier League fixtures, most recently recording a 2-1 victory away at Warrington Rylands on Saturday 21st March.
That result extended their unbeaten run to eight matches, with six wins during that period, dating back to a narrow defeat at Morpeth Town at the end of January.
The reverse fixture earlier this season saw FC United claim a 3-1 victory in August, providing added motivation for the Seasiders to respond on home turf.
