A 17-day break with no action means Whitby Town drop to 16th in the Pitching In Northern Premier League Premier Division, but Gary Liddle's side will be hoping the lengthy rest could prove beneficial.
Without victory since January 13th against Ilkeston Town, albeit with only two games played since, the latest result was a 3-1 loss at Hebburn Town, with Jake Charles grabbing Whitby's goal on Tuesday, 20th January.
Under the management of Gavin Hurren, a promotion winner with the Pitmen last season, Hednesford sit second on goal difference alone, but continue to aim for top spot in the division. They have lost just once on home soil this season, with that defeat coming against play-off chasing Stockton Town.
Last weekend, the Pitmen recorded a 1-1 draw at Gainsborough Trinity - Ahkeem Rose put them ahead from the penalty spot in the 28th minute, before Henry Brown levelled matters for the home side in the second half.
The last time we met, Whitby gave their opponents a long journey back to the West Midlands, through Donald Chimalilo and Sam Collins' goals in a 2-1 win back in September.
