The 34-year-old forward signed for the Two Blues in the summer after departing Guisborough Town for a second time.

Prior to his spell at the King George V Ground, Tymon spent time on the books at Redcar Athletic, Stockton Town and Marske United.

And prior to joining Whitby for the second time in 2016, he had turned out for Workington, West Auckland Town and Hartlepool United.

On returning to the club, Tymon said: "I'm delighted to be back with the club.

"I've loved my times at Whitby Town in the past. It's a great club with great people, so it was a no-brainer to return when Gary [Liddle] asked me about rejoining.

"I'm looking forward to getting going again, starting this weekend."

Manager Gary Liddle added: "Matty is someone we know well, he’s experienced and knows the level and levels around us well.

"He recently became available and with Connor Simpson's exit back home to Australia after Saturday, it made perfect sense to add Matty to our forward options, which he was excited and enthusiastic to do.

"We look forward to working with him during his time here."
