The 21-year-old joined in the Seasiders in summer 2024 and has become a key part of Gary Liddle's squad, scoring one goal and registering 36 appearances - his strike at Ilkeston Town being nominated for the Seasiders' 2024/25 Goal of the Season Award.

Whitby Town manager, Gary Liddle, said: "I'm pleased to get Sam back on board. As the season went on last year, Sam got stronger and stronger, and become more used to the demands of non-league football.

"I feel last season will be a huge benefit to Sam and hopefully he can now push on again and have a big impact for us going into the new season."
