The 25-year-old, formerly of the Sunderland Academy, joined the Seasiders towards the back end of the 2017/18 season and has gone on to make 142 appearances for the club since then.

Sukar, who played professionally for Dundee United, was a regular for the Blues throughout the 2021/22 campaign, and throughout his career with Whitby scored two goals - against Mickleover in 2018 and Radcliffe in 2020.

The defender, who can play as a left-back or at centre-half, has received an offer to play at a higher level and further details will be announced in due course.
