A loyal Seasiders supporter, who wishes to remain anonymous, has committed to making a donation for every Whitby Town victory in the Emirates FA Cup during the upcoming campaign.

The generous pledge will see funds donated directly into the 1926 Club based on the stage of the competition in which each win is achieved:

• First Qualifying Round win - £50
• Second Qualifying Round win - £100
• Third Qualifying Round win - £150
• Fourth Qualifying Round win - £200

Should the Seasiders record victories in all four qualifying rounds, the pledge will contribute a total of £500 to the playing budget through the 1926 Club.

The relaunched 1926 Club continues to provide supporters with the opportunity to make a direct impact on the football side of the club, helping to strengthen the playing budget and support the management team throughout the season.

The fund has played an important role in assisting Whitby Town with player recruitment and squad development in recent years.

We would like to place on record our sincere thanks to this supporter for their commitment and generosity ahead of what promises to be an exciting campaign.

Supporters who would like to make their own pledge, whether linked to results, goals, clean sheets, cup progress or any other achievement, are encouraged to get involved and help grow the 1926 Club throughout the season.
