The Seasiders were knocked out at this stage of the competition last season, going down 3-1 away at Guiseley, and will be looking to advance further this time around.

But first, they will need to beat current Pitching In Northern Premier League Premier Division leaders Radcliffe at the Neuven Stadium on Saturday, 7th October.

Nathan Haslam's men and Boro both enter the competition at this stage, along with all other Step 3 clubs.

Both league meetings between the two sides in the 2022/23 season resulted in the spoils being shared, with the Seasiders claiming a 1-1 draw on the road, while a goalless stalemate was played out at the Towbar Express Stadium @ The Turnbull Ground.

As a result of both sides being drawn against each other in the FA Trophy, the league meeting at the Neuven Stadium, scheduled for Saturday, 28 October, has been postponed as this will be the date that First Round Proper ties are played.

A new date for the league fixture will be announced in due course.
