The young Seasiders made their first steps into competitive football in the 2024/25 season, playing in the FA Youth Cup for the first time, and also securing a top-half finish in the Durham FA Under-18 Saturday League, subsequently qualifying for Division One in that particular league.

Next season, Town's youth outfit will play in two leagues, maintaining their place in the Durham FA Under-18 Saturday League, whilst also playing midweek matches in a prestigious national college league on a Wednesday.

An agreement has also been reached for college league matches to take place at the Towbar Express Stadium, with fixtures set in accordance with the Seasiders' first team schedule on home soil.
