Turnbull's Bar to Show England's FIFA World Cup Round of 32 Clash with DR Congo

Liam Ryder28 Jun - 15:00

Whitby Town is pleased to confirm that Turnbull's Bar will be showing England's FIFA World Cup Round of 32 fixture against DR Congo.

On the opening night of the venue being back under football club management, Turnbull's Bar will open from 4pm ahead of the 5pm kick-off, providing supporters with the perfect venue to watch the Three Lions begin their World Cup knock-out journey.

To add to the occasion, we will be running a special matchday prize draw. For every £5 spent at the bar, customers will receive one ticket entry into a prize draw. The winning ticket will be drawn at the end of the match, with a cash prize of £100 up for grabs.

Whether you're joining friends, family, or fellow England supporters, Turnbull's Bar offers a welcoming atmosphere to enjoy the game together.

Following reports of incidents and anti-social behaviour at some local venues during the tournament so far, Whitby Town would like to advise all visitors that we will not tolerate any form of such behaviour and we have zero tolerance to disorderly behaviour.

We are proud to be a family-friendly club and expect all customers to conduct themselves in a respectful and responsible manner at all times. Any behaviour that detracts from the enjoyment and safety of others will not be tolerated and may result in individuals being asked to leave the premises.

We look forward to welcoming supporters to Turnbull's Bar on its opening night for what promises to be an exciting early evening of World Cup football.
