The 35-year-old re-joined the club in winter 2024 after most recently spending time with Guisborough Town and Bishop Auckland and made 18 appearances in the Pitching In Northern Premier League last season.
Tymon's contributions to survival last season for the Seasiders cannot be understated, as he netted five goals in five games towards the end of the campaign.
Speaking of Tymon's decision to put pen to paper, manager Gary Liddle said: "Matty is another welcome addition to the squad going into next season.
"He had a huge influence on us last season when he came in and his goals at the end of the season coincided with our best form of the season.
"He offers great experience and is a different profile of striker to what we already have in Jake Charles.
"He’s as fit as they come given his age and I know he’s ready for another long season in our aims for success."
