They will become the official sponsor of the club's Player of the Match Award and, as part of the agreement, Whitby Brewery will not only sponsor the award throughout the campaign but will also supply the prize presented to the winning player after each home fixture.

Founded with a mission to bring craft brewing back to the town, Whitby Brewery has become one of the area's most recognisable independent businesses, producing a range of locally brewed ales from its East Cliff home overlooking Whitby.

The partnership brings together two organisations that are proud to represent Whitby and its community, reinforcing the club's commitment to working alongside successful local businesses as it continues its centenary season celebrations.

Whitby Town Commercial Manager Jim Cairns said: "We are delighted to welcome Whitby Brewery as our Player of the Match Award sponsor for the 2026/27 season.

"The award is an important part of every matchday, recognising the performances that help drive the team forward, and it's fantastic to have a respected local business supporting that recognition.

The Player of the Match Award will be presented following every home league and cup fixture during the 2026/27 season, with the winning player receiving a prize courtesy of Whitby Brewery.
