Lee Bullock has a new role within the club as General Manager

Whitby Town Football Club are pleased to announce the appointment of Lee Bullock as the clubs new General Manager.

This exciting new role will see Lee working alongside the Board to drive the club forward in its exciting programme of community engagement, stadium improvements and commercial activities.

The Board feel it is the right time to recruit a full-time employee of the football club as their plans to make the whole operation a more professional and commercial enterprise has arrived.

Lee Bullock is the current Assistant Manager at Whitby Town and a former professional footballer playing at Bradford City, Hartlepool United, Cardiff City and York City.

Bully is a firm favourite with the Whitby fans and says that he "could not turn down the chance to take on this role."

Chairman, Eddie McNamee welcomed Lee Bullock to the management team stating that "it is vital that now have someone at the helm who is committed to running the football club professionally and deliver the Board's plans to create an organisation that commercially viable and committed to the community.

"Bully is a football man through and through and a great lad to boot. He will worksite alongside Graeme Hinchliffe and the Board to ensure the club's finances are improved and development plans put in place."

Over the past 12 months the club has improved its financial position and is now ready to position itself within the community as well as develop many other areas in the district.
