Whitby Town Calls on Supporters to Get Behind Club-Wide Movember Challenge

Whitby Town Calls on Supporters to Get Behind Club-Wide Movember Challenge

Liam Ryder

Whitby Town is hoping to bring players, staff, volunteers and supporters together this November.

As part of a club-wide Movember fundraising initiative in support of Prostate Cancer UK, the idea, led by the club’s Sports Therapist Tim Ward, is to get as many people involved as possible, growing a moustache throughout November and helping raise awareness and funds for an important cause.

Tim is keen to see the whole club get behind the challenge, creating a sense of togetherness across the Whitby Town family while making a positive difference away from the pitch.

The initiative will see players and staff taking part, but Tim is also encouraging supporters and volunteers to join in. The more people who get involved, the bigger the impact we can make together.

As part of the fundraising effort, there will be bucket collections for Prostate Cancer UK at our next home fixture against Leek Town on Saturday 21st November. Supporters attending the game will have the opportunity to make a donation and help the club contribute towards the charity's vital work.

We'd also love to see how you're getting on with your Movember efforts. Whether you're sporting an impressive moustache, just getting started or embracing a slightly different look, share your photos with us by emailing info@whitbytownfc.com so we can showcase everyone taking part across the club.

This is about more than just growing a moustache. It's an opportunity to bring the Whitby Town community together, support a worthwhile cause and show what can be achieved when everyone pulls in the same direction.

Get involved, put the razor down and play your part in Movember!
