During his time at Cleethorpes, Gibson-Booth gained further first-team experience in a competitive environment, including appearances in the Northern Premier League Premier Division. His progress has been marked by steady development and growing maturity in senior football.
A product of the York City pathway system, Gibson-Booth has also previously featured on loan at Morpeth Town, where he gained valuable experience in men’s football and demonstrated his ability to adapt quickly to the demands of the non-league game.
On the move, Gibson-Booth said: "It's the excitement of the new project that's enticed me here and also what I've seen other young players do here.
"It seems a great club in general so it was a bit of a no brainer in that sense."
Everyone at Whitby Town would like to welcome Leon to the club and wish him every success during his time at the Towbar Express Stadium.
