The 23-year-old arrives at the Towbar Express Stadium with valuable experience gained both in England and abroad, adding quality, versatility and youthful energy to the Seasiders' squad.
A product of the Middlesbrough Academy, Reed progressed through the club's youth system, featuring for both their Under-18 and Under-21 sides during his time on Teesside.
Following a spell away from the game through injury, he reignited his career in Gibraltar, joining Manchester 62 and establishing himself as an important member of their squad.
During his time with the seven-time Gibraltar Football League champions, Reed contributed three goals and six assists in 24 appearances.
Comfortable in a variety of positions, Reed is capable of operating in central midfield, across the defensive line and on the left flank, providing valuable flexibility for the management team.
Speaking after completing the move, Reed said: "I'm delighted to be here after speaking with Denny (Ingram) and Lee (Bullock). I'm excited about the new project and I think everybody's got something to look forward to.
"I'm really thankful for the opportunity to be here. I think it's a great place for me to play my football and show people what I can do."
