
The awards were originally scheduled to be presented as part of this Saturday’s Centenary Dinner. However, the club has been advised that the First Team squad will not be in attendance at the event.
Despite the change to proceedings, the club would like to thank all supporters who took the time to cast their votes following the end of the 2025/26 season.
A number of players were recognised for their contributions during the 2025/26 campaign, with performances across the season earning praise from teammates, supporters and followers online.
Attacker Layton Watts was voted Players’ Player of the Season, reflecting the respect and admiration he has earned within the dressing room throughout the campaign.
Alex Nelson claimed the Supporters’ Player of the Season award after a series of consistent performances that made him a firm favourite with the Towbar Express Stadium faithful over the course of the season.
The Internet Player of the Season award goes to Frankie Whelan, whose displays throughout the year saw him receive the highest number of votes from supporters online.
Meanwhile, Aaron Haswell’s strike against Guiseley was voted Goal of the Season, with the memorable free-kick effort standing out as the supporters’ favourite from the 2025/26 campaign.
