Whitby Town Sign Goalkeeper Oliver Swan on Dual Registration

Liam Ryder

Whitby Town can announce the signing of goalkeeper Oliver Swan on dual-registration terms with Northallerton Town.

The 23-year-old shot-stopper joins the Seasiders ahead of the 2026/27 season, adding further depth and competition to the goalkeeping department.

Born in Middlesbrough, Swan has gained valuable experience in the Northern League and arrives at the Towbar Express Stadium following his time with Marske United and Billingham Town, and also as a pre-season trialist with the Seasiders..

A confident goalkeeper with strong handling and a commanding presence, he will now have the opportunity to continue his development while linking up with both clubs under the dual-registration agreement.

Manager Lee Bullock welcomed the addition of Swan to the squad: "Oliver is a young goalkeeper with a lot of potential and a strong desire to improve. He’s been playing regular football and has impressed with his attitude and performances. We’re pleased to bring him into the group and look forward to working with him."

Swan becomes the latest addition to Whitby Town’s squad as preparations continue for the challenges ahead, and everyone at the club would like to extend a warm welcome to Oliver and wish him every success during his time with both the Seasiders and Northallerton Town.
