The attacker signed for Bishop Auckland in May 2026, returning to the Vest Construction Stadium following a successful previous loan spell with the club. During his earlier time there, he made a strong impression and quickly became a popular figure, with his performances earning plenty of praise.

Vinnie’s football journey has seen him gain experience with Sunderland, York City, Stockton Town and several other clubs, providing him with a strong footballing background and a wealth of knowledge despite his young age.

A direct and creative attacking player, Steels brings pace, confidence and quality on the ball. Comfortable taking on defenders and operating across the forward line, he is a player who looks to create opportunities, score goals and make a positive difference in the final third.
