Whitby Town joint-boss Lee Bullock says his side will need to maintain a strong performance for the full 90 minutes against Stafford Rangers as the Seasiders bid to earn their first points of the campaign at the Towbar Express Stadium @ The Turnbull Ground on Saturday afternoon (3pm kick-off).
Town were beaten by Guiseley in their last Pitching In Northern Premier League Premier Division outing in midweek, following on a from a disappointing loss to FC United of Manchester last Saturday.
And Whitby's joint-manager - who is desperate for that first win - warned that his side will need to be at their best against a "strong" Stafford side.
Here are some of the other key points that we address by Bullock this week...
On Tuesday's defeat at Nethermoor Park:
"We rode our luck in the first ten minutes with some excellent saves from Shane keeping us in it. I was happy with the performance for the next 30 minutes. It was a good away performance.
"We looked good on the ball but it was criminal to find ourselves 2-0 down at half-time - we allowed a free header from a set-piece and then a loose pass on the edge of our box. Before we knew it, it was game over. It's very difficult to come back from that.
"They've been told and they've got to learn quickly as every weakness is being exposed. They did well in the second half and we could have nicked a 2-2 draw at the death had we hit the target."
On Jonathan Burn, who was withdrawn early in the game at Nethermoor Park:
"Jonny's headed their lads' head. It was a full force header into him and he was all over the place. He wasn't following Jeff's tests.
"We started the game thinking we've got a good, solid back four here and then 10 minutes in we've got a central midfielder at right-back. That's the way things go."
On Saturday's game against joint league leaders Stafford Rangers:
"We know we're capable of putting in a consistently strong performance.
"We're in a really bad spell, simple as. Every mistake's getting punished but the only way we'll get out of it is through hard work.
"If the lads do their jobs then the quality will come through but it all starts with hard work. We saw it for most of the game on Tuesday."
