Nathan Haslam is hopeful of Whitby Town returning to winning form in the Pitching In Northern Premier League Premier Division ahead of the Seasiders' trip to Morpeth Town on Tuesday evening (kick-off 3pm).
The Blues, who currently sit bottom of the table on eight points, with three games in hand, make a rare journey north to face the Highwaymen at Craik Park, aiming to react to Saturday's 2-0 defeat at Marine.
Haslam, who was pleased with Whitby upturn in fortunes in the league prior to Saturday's match, is determined for Town to register a third victory of the season after seeing positive signs at the Marine Travel Arena.
The Seasiders' manager told whitbytownfc.com: "I expect the style of game to be similar given that we'll be on a 3G pitch again. In truth, the surface suits our style of play and we play some really nice football.
"Anyone that was there on Saturday will have seen that.
"Morpeth are another good, well funded team and on the artificial surface they're very good at home so it's massive challenge for us like all games in this league."
Following on from Saturday's game, Haslam tried to pin point what he thought was wrong with his side and the manner in which they lost the game on Merseyside.
The Town boss, who has brought in some new, exciting loan players, feels that the recent experiences need to be learnt from as his side look to get themselves out of the danger zone.
He added: "If we're on form and we perform to our levels on the night, we know that we're more than a match for any team in this league. We need to be clinical, convert chances, and stop this naivety.
"We're quite an inexperienced group but when we pull all of that together we'll do what we need to do and that's winning football matches."
Tickets can be purchased in advance here. Tickets are priced at £12 for adults, £8 for concessions and £4 for Under-16s.
