Whitby Town had to come from 2-0 down to take a point from the Neuven Stadium as first half errors saw them punished against Radcliffe in the BetVictor Northern Premier.
This fixture turned out to be one of only four matches to take place in the division with the other seven games being called off due to health and safety concerns surrounding COVID-19.
But it was an exciting game for a bumper crowd at Radcliffe with four goals on offer between the two sides in a game of two halves in terms of dominant teams.
The home side took the lead on 40 minutes as Kole Hall as he poked the ball home from close range following a spillage from Shane Bland after a free-kick.
It then got worse for the Blues just two minutes later when the hosts doubled their advantage as Jo Cummings headed home from a corner without any real challenge from the Whitby defence.
However the second period saw a different Whitby team emerge and they gave themselves a lifeline early on in the half as Jassem Sukar scored via the crossbar when he got onto the end of a knock-down following a corner from the left.
And then the Seasiders were level on 57 minutes as Corey Roper was brought down in the box by goalkeeper, Ollie Martin. Paul Blackett stepped up to the penalty spot and smashed his spot-kick down the middle.
There were late chances for both sides in a frantic finish but neither side were able to get themselves a goal meaning that the spoils were shared in Lancashire.
