Whitby Town joint-boss Nathan Haslam is hoping to see his side bounce back from defeat at Nantwich Town when the Seasiders take on Witton Albion on Saturday - stating that it's down to the Whitby players to do the business.
Town head to Cheshire (3pm kick-off), and should they avoid defeat against Carl MacAuley's men they will avoid Albion doing the league double over them after their 1-0 win earlier in the season.
In order to claim victory this time around, though, Town - who have won on their last two visits to Wincham Park - must be at their best against a side fighting for their lives at the bottom of the league table.
"As we found out last week, the league position means absolutely nothing," Haslam said.
"I always say that we've got to worry about ourselves - the proof was in the pudding last Saturday.
"We know that if we turned up and performed like we can we would have got something, there's no doubt about that - but there was no quality."
Town still have the play-off spots within their sights, with Warrington Town just three points ahead of them in fifth spot.
But Haslam is fully aware that the club's dream only has any chance of becoming reality if the performances on the pitch are significantly better than that seen at the Optimum Pay Stadium last time out.
"We need to turn up against Witton. The performance needs to be a lot better than it was last week from an attacking perspective," he said.
"If we do that, we can compete with anybody in this league. The ball's purely in our court with nine games left.
"Do we want to make a fist of it? If we do we need to start picking up points. If we don't then we'll go out with a whimper."
