Nathan Haslam is hopeful Whitby Town can make the most of home advantage in the Emirates FA Cup area of Tuesday's Fourth Qualifying Round Replay against Chelmsford City.

The Seasiders host the National League South outfit at the Towbar Express Stadium @ The Turnbull Ground (kick-off 7:45pm) as they bid to reach the First Round Proper of the competition where League One Bristol Rovers await the winners at the Memorial Stadium.

Haslam, who saw his side squander a 2-0 lead in Saturday's initial tie at the Melbourne Community Stadium, is determined for Town to tackle this replay in the correct fashion once more in order to book their place in the next round.

The Blues' manager made a rallying cry ahead of the replay and told whitbytownfc.com: "I want a full house. I want four figures there to hopefully get us over the line. We need the town out in force because we're going to need the crowd behind us.

"We were the better team on Saturday but couldn't claim the victory and Chelmsford know about us now so they're going to perhaps be a bit more prepared for the game.

"We need that twelfth man and to have the crowd behind us. We need lots of noise, like we got in the away game on Saturday, and that will really be appreciated."

Haslam has twice been to this stage of the competition in his time managing Bishop Auckland and Marske United, but is now determined to go that one step further.

The Town boss aims for his players to go and make a bit of history for the Seasiders who have not made it into the First Round Proper for 20 years.

Haslam added: "We created plenty of chances in the first game but we weren't clinical enough. We didn't put an experienced side to bed and there's always a chance that you're going to concede against a team like Chelmsford.

"We need to go again on Tuesday with the same type of performance. It's all set up for a juicy tie with a place in the First Round Proper on the line."

Tickets for the fixture are selling well so supporters are advised to buy in advance to reduce queues on the night. Tickets can be purchased here.
