Ben Beals returned to Whitby Town in October 2026, bringing valuable experience and a strong defensive presence to the Seasiders. A product of Middlesbrough's academy, Beals joined the Riverside Stadium club at the age of nine, progressing through the youth ranks before earning a place in their Under-21s squad and stepping into senior football.

A previous loan spell at Whitby gave the centre-back his first taste of life at the Towbar Express Stadium, while he also gained further experience during a spell with Marske United.

Beals subsequently joined Spennymoor Town permanently in the summer of 2024, where he quickly established himself as a dependable figure at the heart of their defence. His impressive performances during his first season earned him a new contract in August 2025.
