Charlie Dinsdale joined the Seasiders on a Work Experience Loan from Sunderland until the end of the 2025/26 season, signing on deadline day.

The young attacking midfielder arrived as a highly regarded young prospect from the Black Cats’ Academy, where he has developed his game with regular involvement at both Under‑18 and Under‑21 level.

Primarily an attacking midfielder, Charlie offers pace, creativity and an eye for goal, with the versatility to operate across the forward line. Comfortable receiving the ball between the lines, he combines technical quality with a strong work ethic, and has contributed goals and assists throughout his youth career.

This loan represents an exciting opportunity for Charlie to experience senior football and further his development in a competitive men’s environment, while adding fresh attacking options to the Whitby Town squad for the run‑in.
