Jake Charles is a seasoned striker for Whitby Town, bringing experience, tenacity and a keen eye for goal to the Seasiders’ attacking line.

A product of the Huddersfield Town Academy, Jake has enjoyed a varied career across the non‑league pyramid with clubs including Stalybridge Celtic, Stafford Rangers, Farsley Celtic, FC United of Manchester and Scarborough Athletic before signing for Whitby in 2024.

Known for his intelligent movement, composure in front of goal and ability to link play, Jake made an immediate impact with the Seasiders, scoring four times early in his first campaign prior to a serious injury.

Combining physical presence with technical skill, he also boasts international pedigree from representing Wales at multiple youth levels, including under-21s.
