Biography
Lewis Hawkins is an experienced central midfielder and a vital presence in the Whitby Town midfield, renowned for his leadership, technical ability and consistency in the heart of the team.A product of Hartlepool United’s youth system, Lewis made more than 50 EFL appearances with Pools before moving into non‑league football with clubs including Spennymoor Town, Blyth Spartans and York City.
He signed for Whitby Town in summer 2020 from Guisborough Town and quickly became a mainstay at the Towbar Express Stadium, bringing a wealth of experience and composure to the centre of the park.
Known for his intelligent passing, tireless work rate and leadership qualities, Lewis is senior figure in the squad and his presence helps drive the Seasiders’ ambitions in the Pitching In Northern Premier League Premier Division.
