Biography
Ronnie McGrath is an exciting midfielder for Whitby Town, bringing creativity, energy and a modern attacking edge to the Seasiders’ midfield.Ronnie joined the club ahead of the 2025/26 Pitching In Northern Premier League season after impressing on trial in pre‑season and signing from Tadcaster Albion, having previously risen through the youth ranks at Leeds United.
Capable of playing across midfield and out wide, Ronnie made his name scoring in a pre‑season draw against Redcar Athletic and has continued to show his technical ability, work rate and willingness to take on defenders in competitive action.
Before returning to English non‑league football, he combined Academy football with first‑team experience in the United States with the South Carolina Gamecocks, highlighting his ambition.
Young, talented and eager to make his mark, Ronnie embodies the attacking intent and enthusiasm at the heart of Whitby Town’s squad.
