Biography
Jason Kennedy is Joint-Manager at Whitby Town, bringing a wealth of professional experience and leadership to the Seasiders’ coaching team alongside Lee Bullock.
Jason enjoyed a distinguished playing career as a midfielder, rising through the Middlesbrough Academy and making his first-team debut in the 2004/05 season, including featuring in a UEFA Cup match early in his career.
Over 15 years in the professional game, he represented clubs such as Darlington, Rochdale - where he made over 170 appearances and was part of their promotion-winning side - Bradford City and Carlisle United, before stepping into the non-league ranks with Hartlepool United, Spennymoor Town and Marske United.
Retiring from playing in 2024, Jason swiftly transitioned into coaching and joined Whitby Town’s management team, where his experience, work ethic and understanding of the game are already making a strong impact at the Towbar Express Stadium
