Biography
Sam Collins is an exciting young left-back for Whitby Town, known for his pace, versatility and attacking threat down the left flank. Collins signed for the Seasiders in the summer of 2024 following his release from Middlesbrough, where he had been part of the club’s youth system since under-11 and went on to feature in Premier League 2 with their Under-23 side.Comfortable playing anywhere on the left, Sam has quickly adapted to the demands of senior Northern Premier League football and featured regularly for the first team, combining solid defensive work with an eagerness to support forward play.
During his debut season with Whitby Town he made 36 appearances and scored a memorable goal at Ilkeston Town that was nominated for the club’s Goal of the Season award, underlining his growing influence on the pitch.
Sam’s commitment, athleticism and positive attitude mark him out as a key part of the Seasiders’ ambitions moving forward.
