Biography
Michael brings versatility, physical presence and valuable experience from both sides of the Atlantic. Standing at 6ft 1in, Hodgson is primarily a commanding central defender but is equally comfortable operating in midfield, offering strength and composure in a variety of roles.Hodgson arrived at the Towbar Express Stadium following a spell in the United States, where he combined his studies with college football at McKendree University. The move provided him with the opportunity to develop his game in a competitive environment and gain further experience overseas.
Before heading Stateside, Hodgson progressed through the ranks at Scarborough Athletic, featuring for the Seadogs' Under-19s side under the guidance of Denny Ingram. He has also gained senior experience with Tadcaster Albion.
